My name is Ronny and I am a senior at Foran High. Being almost through with high school is kind of exciting, but I think I'll miss parts of it. I'll miss hanging out with my group of friends, because in college we'll all start going to different parties and hanging out with new people. I run cross country and track, and I dive on the swim team. I'm 18 years old, which is cool, because I have less limitations. I can buy spray paint and other things that you can't buy if you're under 18 years old. Also, I don't have to worry about any of Connecticut's laws about teenage drivers, because they all apply to drivers younger than 18. Right now I'm just finishing up college applications and waiting for high school to end.

Here is a funny excerpt from Saturday Night Live that I found on Hulu.com. I like this song too.
Essay
In my opinion, nobody should be punished for things they say on the internet about their superiors. We live in a country where people are supposed to be allowed to speak freely about the government. Saying that you don't support a governmental figure in charge can get you killed in other countries. The United States of America is supposed to be different though. People are supposed to be allowed to question the actions of their superiors and proclaim their dislike for them.
Two students did this and they were punished. One of them declared their hatred for a teacher, the other for their administrators. This should have gone unpunished. What was said did not threaten the people physically. It did not promote violence or put the subjects in danger. These two students announced their displeasure over their superiors, and they got in trouble.
I believe that the actions taken were ridiculous. One student was suspended and the other was banned from running for senior class secretary. There was no reason for disciplinary action, as no rules were broken. The students didn't do anything wrong.
Kindle
I think the Kindle is worth the prics if you are a person who really enjoys reading. If you are going to use it a few times a week, every week of your life, it's probably worth it. This device could revolutionize education by making text books a thing of the past. To have any book that a student is studying immediatly available on a small piece of technology is amazing. I would guess that the prime audience of this device is adults who read a lot. They probably have the income to make the purchase and probably would get the most use out of them. I would not use a kindle. If I bought one, it would just be a wasted kindle that noone uses to read, so I don't think there are any circumstances that I would buy one.
